Why is my Google Ads “Quality Score” so low?
The quality score is Google’s way of telling you that something isn’t right between your ad, your keywords and your landing page. For example, if you are targeting accountants in Cork, but you are sending your potential customers to a generic homepage, Google will penalise you.

Should I use Google’s Performance Max (PMax) campaigns?
Depending how you use it, PMAX campaigns can be a huge success or they can drain your budget. Because it is dfriven by AI, PMAX campaigns need high quality audience signals and first-party data to work properly.

How do you stop “tyre-kickers” from wasting my ad spend?
This is where our negative keyword strategy comes into play. A lot of agencies will set up a campaign and forget to keep up to date with what people are actually typing in. We are constantly checking which keywords are getting lots of clicks, but no conversions.

How long does it take for Google Ads to become profitable?

We tend to see a 2 to 4 week learning phase in Google, where the algorithm gathers enough data to stabilise the ads. By month 2, we’ve usually trimmed the fat and identified the best keywords to target. This allows us to scale the budget then towards these winning keywords

Can a small Irish business compete with big brands on Google Ads?
